What is XnView?

XnView is an image managing software that is free to use by anyone using a desktop computer, a laptop, a tablet and even a mobile phone. This program enables users to view, convert and organize photos as well as graphics. It is also a tool that creates photo slideshows, contact sheets and even HTML pages.

Some of the XnView products are XnConvert 1.51, XnView Photo Fx, and With XnView Sketch. XnConvert 1.51 is for computers which converts and resizes images as well as graphics with around 500 formats like the following: JPG, GIF, PNG, JPEG and TIFF. Other features included are adding watermarks and texts, rotating images and adjusting settings like the brightness, contrast and shadows. This version of XnView is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux of 32 or 64 bit.

XnView Photo Fx is for mobile devices, particularly iPhone, iPad and iPod. You can convert images into vintage, grayscale and other effects you prefer using those portable mobile devices. You can easily and instantly edit photos after capturing images in this case.

There is also XnView for Android devices, which is the XnView Sketch that converts photos into sketch or cartoon images. Its features include 9 effects, edge strength, opacity adjustment, contract adjustment, brightness adjustment and saturation adjustment.
