What is a MBM file?

MaxBulk Mailer Settings

MaxBulk Mailer Settings files (extension .MBM) store user-defined configuration and preferences for MaxBulk Mailer, a bulk email and mail-merge application. The files are created when you export your settings using MaxBulk Mailer's "File ▸ Settings ▸ Export" menu, often for backup or for transferring your setup between computers. A settings file may include preferences, email accounts, recipient lists, templates, favorites, pictures, and delivery history.

MaxBulk Mailer reads these .MBM files via its "File ▸ Settings ▸ Import" command, applying the stored settings to restore or replicate a working environment. These files are interoperable across Windows and macOS starting from MaxBulk Mailer version 8.5; files created on Mac OS must have the .MBM extension appended in order for Windows versions to recognize them.

Internally, MaxBulk Mailer Settings .MBM files contain ASCII-readable identifiers such as "FileVersion" at the start of the file and named settings fields like "SMTPHOST", "SUBJECT", "TAG_FIRSTNAME", and "UTF8" among others.
