Opening PDB files

Did your computer fail to open a PDB file? We explain what PDB files are and recommend software that we know can open or convert your PDB files.

What is a PDB file?

PDB stands for "Program Database". It is used in the C++ programming language. Files that contani the .pdb file extension are database files that store data in a structured format. The .pdb file extension is most commonly associated with PalmPilot personal devices. A variety of Palm OS applications use the .pdb file extension for their application programs.

Files that contain the .pdb file extension may include word processing documents, database files, image files and spreadsheets. There are other applications that also use the .pdb file extension as well. Some of these programs include Quicken, Pegasus and Microsoft Visual Studio.

Try a universal file viewer

In addition to the products listed above, I would suggest that you try a universal file viewer like Free File Viewer. It can open over 200 different types of files - and very likely yours too! Download Free File Viewer.
