If you are looking for MixPad, you have come to the right place. We explain what MixPad is and point you to the official download.
What is MixPad?
MixPad software installs an audio mixer on the computer, which allows the user to mix multiple tracks at the same time, and then integrate these into a single project file. The software, developed by NCH Software, provides the user with a program that is focused primarily on helping them in music production.
The user is allowed to process over one hundred audio tracks of various formats, and then seamlessly integrate all of these together to create a single music production output. It can function as a standalone application, and it can also work in conjunction with other software from NCH Software, specifically those developed to provide the user with a media production program.
When the application is launched, it provides a window that can display the tracks accessed by the user. For each track opened on the window, a dedicated console is assigned to it, to enable the user to manipulate each track simultaneously.
Aside from loading tracks from saved folders on the computer, the application also allows the user to extract audio from a video clip, and rip tracks from an audio CD.
A free version of the software is available for non-commercial use. MixPad comes in a version for Windows and Mac. The Mac version is called MixPad Music Mixing Software, whereas the Windows version is called MixPad Audio Mixing Software.
