Opening CCD files

Did your computer fail to open a CCD file? We explain what CCD files are and recommend software that we know can open or convert your CCD files.

What is a CCD file?

Files that contain the .ccd file extension are most commonly used by the CloneCD software application. CloneCD is a CD backup software utility that was developed by SlySoft Inc to copy CDs that contain audio files or data.

CCD files contain data about the logical structure of a CD that a user is copying. The data that is saved by the program is saved in the ASCII format and is used together with accompanying IMG and SUB files to create complete CD backup copies for the user to access if the original copies of the CDs become lost, damaged or corrupt..
