How to open AUP files
Did your computer fail to open an AUP file? We explain what AUP files are and recommend software that we know can open or convert your files.
What is an AUP file?
Files that contain the .aup file extension are most commonly associated with the Audacity multi-platform audio recording and editing software program.
The Audacity software application allows users to edit and optimize audio data. Using the program, a user can break larger files into smaller volumes so that the software can open and save the associated project files more quickly.
When an audio project is created using the Audacity application, the file is saved with the .aup file extension.
The Epocrates PDA medical software also uses the .aup file suffix. These AUP files contain medical files that have been saved using the Epocrates application.
