TeraPad is a product made by Japanese designer Susumu Terao. It was first released back in April 1999. This program allows users to be able to edit the text contents of Web pages. This includes blogs and other websites. TeraPad is also a kind of SDI (Single Document Interface) text editor. Users can edit graphics and text elements by using individual windows that the operating system’s window manager can deal with separately. By using an SDI interface, every active window contains its own menu and toolbars. TeraPad offers features that are color-coded according to the kind of edited file.
TeraPad’s features include a preview line number, digit retranslation, a display ruler, split screen functions, as well as a simple text manipulation tool including print, redo, undo, and edit. This program contains support of editing in different languages. Among these languages are CSS, Ruby, PHP, Perl, HTM, Java, and C++. Aside from this, TeraPad also has some external tools that allow its users to do registrations, including Complier Calls, Macros, and Regular Expressions. TeraPad also allows users to be able to edit rich text content of Web pages.

File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files TeraPad can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
