What is a RDF file?

RDF files have multiple uses, and Resource Description Framework is one of them. Read more about the others further down the page.

Resource Description Framework

RDF stands for Resource Description Framework. These files are documents that are used to store information in a standardized form.

The RDF file format that is used to store this information is called "metadata". The metadata details of an RDF file include details about a website's map, keywords, page descriptions, and updates.
