What is Sigma media player?
Sigma media player is software provided by Sigmaplayer that gives the user a variety of options for playing a media file. For instance, audio settings can be configured to provide the user with Dolby quality audio output, display subtitles for movies, enable closed caption feature and add tags to media files.
The player is fully compatible with MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MJPEG-A, MJPEG-B, Sorensen 1/3, Indeo Video version 3, DivX 1-3, H.263 and H.263i, Theora, WMV, MPEG-4, Dirac and On2 VP3, VP5 and VP6.
Audio formats compatible with the software include Vorbis, WMA, Speex, Wavpack, APE, AMR, QuickTime QDM2 and QDMC, MP3, DTS, FLAC, Musepack, Real Audio, MIDI 3, MACE, TrueAudio, ATRAC 3, LPCM and DV audio.
The player also provides a variety of skins and themes for customizing the player’s look. Other options provided to the user include recording DVD, bookmarking scenes and audio tracks, screen capture, and command-line input.
The Pro version of the player also enables the user to play video streamed from YouTube, create a playlist of their videos through the video library feature, and receive free upgrades/updates for the duration of the license.
