What is Adobe Dreamweaver?
The Adobe Dreamweaver is a web development application that creates web pages and a variety of multimedia web applications and Internet rich content, which was originally created by Macromedia before it and all its assets were acquired by Adobe in 2005. It has support for various languages, including right to left ones like Arabic and East Asian languages; plus support for new web standards such as Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and JavaScript, and a plethora of server-side scripting languages such as ASP and all its sub-categories, Scriptlet, ColdFusion, and PHP. It has also recently adapted support for HTML5 and CSS3. The Adobe Dreamweaver application can be tried for a limited time and is available for both Windows and Mac OS X platforms.
Dreamweaver’s strength lies in the combination of visual and code-based creative tools, plus a multi-screen panel so the developer can see how the content would be displayed across various devices such as smartphones, tablets, and computers. Dreamweaver also features a LiveView preview capability with an updated WebKit rendering engine (which Google Chrome and Safari uses), which renders your content and web applications in real-time as you work. Finally, Dreamweaver uses the jQuery code hinting, a JavaScript library so you can add stunning interactive effects to your web pages and applications.
