What is Express Burn?
Express Burn is a disc burning program that lets you burn videos, audios and data to Blu-Ray disc, DVD and CD on Mac or Windows. You can drag and drop your files directly to the application. It offers a free, non-commercial version that burns normal CDs only.
The audio burning feature performs direct digital recording thereby maintaining the audio quality. You can make audio or mp3 CDs to be played on a normal CD player. It supports various audio formats such as OGG, WAV, FLAC, AAC, WMA and MP3 among others. You can customize pausing between tracks and normalize the audio volume when you burn audio CDs.
You can re-encode videos for standard movie discs. The video burning feature supports all video formats with DirectShow based codec and formats such as MPG, AVI, WMV, MP4, OGM and VOB. You can use buttons and menu screens for templates when authoring DVDs. You can manage and make chapters for Blu-ray and DVDs. Video burning allows standard or widescreen formats. You can do file recording for NTSC or PAL.
You can backup your files using this application. You can burn discs for your data into Hybrid, UDF, ISO/Joliet. You can burn ISO images to disc using ISO burner. You can burn video and Blu-ray data. You can also burn to CDRW and CDR, copy and burn DVDs and other disc formats, integrate/automate with other programs through a command line operation.
Express Burn runs on Windows Vista, XP, 7 and 8, Mac OSX 10.3 or later version. You need CD-ROM drive with recording support, DVD-ROM for DVD recording or BD-ROM for recording Blu-ray discs.
