The Print Shop

What is The Print Shop?

The Print Shop is a desktop publishing program created by Broderbund. The software is used to create brochures, leaflets, banners, posters, newsletters, greeting cards, invitations, calendars and other print materials.

The program features a selection of templates that can be used for different design projects. Users can add photos, images, clip art and other effects to customize their design. The following options are available: Templates & Clip Art, Project Picker and Stickers. It also provides the user with various photo editing tools that enable them to improve the overall appearance of their pictures. The user can remove blemishes, freckles and wrinkles; and also whiten the teeth, remove red eye, crop to shape, or crop by freehand. Auto correct is also provided.

Page Layout Tools options on the other hand, include the following: Calendar, Custom Paper Stocks, Ready-Made Guides, and Tables; while Design Tools include Drop Shadow, Eye-Dropper Tool, Gradients and Transparency.

Text editing through text tools, pre-set columns, headlines and text wrap are also provided. In addition, the program features a Contact Management tool, which enables the user to input contacts to their address book, and to create event reminders.

The Print Shop is compatible with Windows operating systems.
