What is a PDS file?
Files that contain the .pds file extension are most commonly used by the PowerDirector video editing software application. The current version of PowerDirector, version 9, is distributed by CyberLink and it is the first native 64-bit consumer video editor.
The PDS files that are used by this software contain references to audio and video files that have been edited with the software. These files commonly contain menu settings and information regarding transitions and effects for the associated video file.
The Pldasm programming language also uses the .pds file suffix. These PDS files contain language source code files that have been writing in the Pldasm language.
Suggest another file format using extension PDS
While we know of one file format using the .PDS file extension, there may be more. It is widespread that different programs use files with the same file extension for very different types of data. Please let us know if you are aware of a different kind of .PDS file.
