What is IsoBuster?

IsoBuster is a recovery application. You can restore your data from flash drives, BD, DVD, CD, SD, SSD, USB stick, and media cards. It recovers all possible formats of DVD, CD, and Blu-ray [HD DVD and BD].

It performs media access, data gathering, interpretation, and device access independent of Windows’ operations. It offers better handling of errors and retrieval operations. It uses both alternative and generic methods to acquire and access data. It utilizes primary and secondary file systems and data that might be bypassed by operating systems.

Your CDs can still be read even when having problems such as buffer under-run. It can extract and read from open sessions. You can recover and access all sessions including old ones. It enables mounting various virtual sessions within a single DVD-RW or DVD+RW path. It can scan lost UDF folders and files, Joliet sessions, and ISO9660. It can scan files base on file signature, and BUP, IFO, and VOB file systems on audio and video DVDs. It can scan deleted, orphaned, or lost FAT folders and files.

It supports Direct CD compressed files, Microsoft Live file system, Mount Rainier DVD+RW and CD-RW discs for compatible and non-compatible MRW drives. It has built-in UDF Reader and HFS Reader.
