What is a GCD file?
Files that contain the .gcd file extension are most commonly associated with the Generic CADD computer aided drafting software application. This software is used to create computerized architectures including floor plans and the layouts of buildings being designed with the application. The software is commonly used by professional architects and architect design students.
The GCD files that are used by the Generic CADD software contain the designs that have been created with the program.
The Prassi Global-CD software application has also been known to use the .gcd file suffix. These GCD files contain disk image files that have been created by a user using the Prassi Global-CD computer program.
