What is a GI file?
A .GI file is a Sonic Global Image file.
This is a disk image file initially supported by the Sonic RecordNow software. Now, these files are supported by various disk creation software applications.
The GI files contain duplicate copies of CDs or DVDs. They can also contain a backup of the information stored on a user's hard drive. SO.
