SewWhat-Pro

If you are looking for SewWhat-Pro, you have come to the right place. We explain what SewWhat-Pro is and point you to the official download.

What is SewWhat-Pro?

The SewWhat-Pro application is for tech-savvy embroiderers who keep digital file copies of their embroidery patterns or who get those digital patterns from manufacturers. The program is basically an upgrade of the SewWhat application, so it has all the abilities of that other program: it can open embroidery files, display them in a viewer for the user, and alter them for a customized result. The Pro version of the software adds conversion ability so that files can be converted from cross-stitch to embroidery. The converter is actually available as a downloadable trial plug-in from a third-party. The program also includes a cutting utility that lets the user separate stitches on patterns with precision.

SewWhat-Pro supports import and saved editing for the majority of the existing embroidery files: ART, PEC, DST, SHV, STX, ZSK, VP3, GNC, DEM and JEF are just some of the files it can open, for instance. It is also designed to have a simple, no-fuss UI. Users of the basic SewWhat program shall find using the Pro version very similar, as there are few interface differences save for the addition of several new toolbars to support expanded functions.
