What is an XXX file?
An .XXX file is a Compucon/Singer PSW Embroidery Design file.
Files that contain the .xxx file extension are most commonly associated with the Compucon Embroidery Operating System.
The Compucon Embroidery Operating System is built into Compucon sewing machines, using the XXX files to store the embroideries and patterns that the machine can create. These files give the embroidery machine instructions regarding which patterns to sew and which colors to use within the associated pattern file.
