RikCAD
If you are looking for RikCAD, you have come to the right place. We explain what RikCAD is and point you to the official download.
What is RikCAD?
RikCAD is a computer-aided design (CAD) which is specially made for garden landscaping and exterior design, available only for speakers of the Japanese language. It is also compliant with building standards as set by the Building Standards Law in Japan, in regards to the Japanese Architectural Institute.
RikCAD’s main feature is called Cinema4D, a three-dimensional visualization application developed in part by MAXON Computer, which is also used in the entertainment and architectural industry for computer-generated graphics and for digital prototyping. The Cinema4D engine is used in RikCAD’s renderer, enabling users to preview, in essence, the design that they have made. This rendering engine simulates a 3D view such as the project would look like when viewed by a camera, including depth of field, to reproduce a photorealistic representation of the design.
RikCAD also features several types of materials for all building purposes, from walls, to tiles, to fences and hedges, even to the dirt that is used for the garden design. Other features include the ability to generate, set, and view floor plans without having extensive architectural know-how; floor plans can be input just by selecting a few options.
