Cubase Project File
The .cpr file extension is used for a data file format developed by Steinberg Media Technologies GMBH. The CPR file format is the default project output file format of the Cubase software, a music editing, and authoring tool.
These CPR files contain digital audio data with specific enhancements, and audio editing attributes provided by the Cubase software. Upon finalizing a .cpr project file in Cubase, the user may opt to save the project in a more standard audio file formats like MP3 or WAV.
These CPR files may also store relevant metadata info like creation date and time stamps, among other details. The Cubase software can be used to open and play the content of a CPR file. This program can also be used to create and edit .cpr files.

The Amstrad Colour Personal Computer (Amstrad CPC) is a home computer released by Amstrad in 1984. It gained some popularity but was up against more popular competitors like the legendary Commodore 64. A CPR file contains the contents of a hardware cartridge, usually containing a game. The CPR file can be used to play the game in an Amstrad software emulator instead of using the real hardware.
