Light Alloy
If you are looking for Light Alloy, you have come to the right place. We explain what Light Alloy is and point you to the official download.
What is Light Alloy?
Light Alloy software installs a media player on a Windows computer. The media player was developed by Russian company Vortex Group and designed to play videos from DVDs and Blu-Ray discs, as well as videos downloaded from the Internet; apart from playing videos that are already stored on the computer.
The player supports subtitles, whether these are already included in the DVD or Blu-Ray movie, or streamed from an online source. Audio files may also be played through Light Alloy. The software has its own codecs to support a wide range of audio and video formats.
In addition to playing videos from the computer or optical discs, the player also allows the user to watch TV shows from broadcast channels online, or streamed from video sites like Vimeo and YouTube.
To enable the user to quickly search for videos organized in their library, the player provides a live preview of the videos similar to YouTube. Lastly, the player supports several languages, allowing the user to change the language of the user interface to their native language. Supported languages include German, Japanese, Dutch, English, and Chinese.
