How to open RV files

What is a RV file?
Files that contain the .rv file extension are usually used for streaming videos online. The RV files can be structured as a single stream or as a scalable SureStream file.
The RV file format is similar to the RM file format, but RV files contain video in addition to containing audio.
The SPEFO software application also uses the .rv file suffix. The RV files that are used by this program contain stellar spectra analysis files.
The DataFlex software program is another application that uses the .rv file extension. These files contain report view files that have been created with the software.
