Brennig's

If you are looking for Brennig's, you have come to the right place. We explain what Brennig's is and point you to the official download.

What is Brennig's?

Brennig’s used to be called SlowView (Brennig’s refers to its developer, called Nikolaus Brennig). Before it was acquired by Ashampoo in 2005, SlowView is a powerful multi-media viewer with a host of organizational functions and sorting capabilities. According to its placeholder website that now links to Ashampoo, SlowView could support over 40 formats spread in photo, video, and audio formats, making it a one-stop shop for viewing and playback of multimedia. Supported formats include JPG, GIF, PSD, TIFF, MNG, TGA, AVI, MOV, and MP3.

As a viewer, SlowView allows drag and drop operations such as by moving, copying, or merging files, and users can view media via thumbnails or in full size. Other operations that SlowView offered include batch processing for a variety of functions, mouse wheel scrolling, zooming, and panning, custom image effects and enhancements, and library and catalog creation.

Ashampoo later purchased Brennig’s and all its rights, and its capabilities to the March 2005 edition of Ashampoo Photo Commander. Most features of Brennig’s and SlowView were incorporated into Photo Commander and improved on it as its updates rolled out.
