What is CloneCD?

CloneCD is the program for making backup copies of your data and audio CDs regardless of format. Upon release of version 5.0, it can also make copies of DVDs, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-RAM and DVD+R Dual Layer. Movies are copied as is. It can work with formats such as UDF and ISO files, and can copy CDs as is. When your standard non-Red Book music CD does not play on your car audio player, the backup CD created by CloneCD will.

CloneCD features itself as the first copy application that utilizes RAW-Mode. It produces 1:1 copies of CD-Rs and CD-RWs. It writes audio CDs conforming to Redbook standard, works with CD-RWs, CD-Rs and CD-ROMs, amplifies weak sectors for chosen CD writers, clones weak sectors for all CD writers, copies from DVD or CD drives, virtual drives and hard drives. It has a sensible user interface, advanced options for professional use, customer care and technical support, tray icon for controlling functions of inserted media. It offers stability and sped without requiring ASPI driver. It supports DVD split file images that works with FAT32 components and with VirtualCloneDrive.

It requires IBM-compatible PC with at least 500MHz Pentium microprocessor, 64MB RAM and 5MB free hard disk space. It works on Windows 2000, 98, XP, XP64bit, Vista, Vista 64bit, 7, 7-64bit, 8 and 8-64bit.
