What is Creo?

Creo, software developed and released by the company Parametric Technology, is a 3D CAD platform that is intended to be used by students, designers, and professionals in the construction and engineering domains. The software is equipped with functionalities that are based on the existing building and construction standards.

Creo allows users to generate 3D CAD drawing that can be used in any stage of architectural, electronic, and mechanical designs. Any modification made on any drawing is automatically reflected in all other sheets. It is also equipped with multi-CAD data that lets users complete all necessary design documents. This particular software can also be used on related parametric namely CAM, CAE, and CAID. This is to ensure faster generation of documents without having to use multiple e applications.

Creo is also capable of sharing data with other apps produced by the company Parametric Technology. This lets users work on 2D and 3D modeling simultaneously. Interoperability is also one of the main targets that the software wishes its users to experience. The software can be used with either Windows-based or Mac OS X system.
