What is a MRK file?

MRK files have multiple uses, and Digital Print Order Format Marker is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.

Digital Print Order Format Marker File

You can find these text files on digital cameras. They contain information that describes the order in which the pictures should be printed from the camera when the camera is hooked up directly to a digital photo printer. These files are also used by certain photo printing services. The MRK file does not contain any image data, just the print order information.
