Opening FRM files

Did your computer fail to open a FRM file? We explain what FRM files are and recommend software that we know can open or convert your FRM files.

What is a FRM file?

Files that contain the .frm file extension are form files. These files contain forms that have been created by a variety of software applications. The forms are used to define the fields within a table and to store data within a database.

MySQL, Microsoft Visual Basic, Corel WordPerfect, iBlaze and MYOB are some of the applications that use the .frm file extension for form file purposes.

The .frm file extension is also used by the PhotoFrame software application. This program uses the .frm file suffix for picture image files.

Files that contain the .frm file suffix are also used by the Corel Painter software application. This program uses the FRM files for frame stack files.

Try a universal file viewer

In addition to the products listed above, I would suggest that you try a universal file viewer like Free File Viewer. It can open over 200 different types of files - and very likely yours too! Download Free File Viewer.
