If you are looking for PowerDesk, you have come to the right place. We explain what PowerDesk is and point you to the official download.

What is PowerDesk?

PowerDesk is a desktop manager from Avanquest Software. It provides the user with a wide selection of tools that allow for sorting and organizing all files and folders on the computer, view and edit files, synchronize files, and encrypt important files for data protection.

The software features a playlist editor that enables the user to play and manage all their audio files; and a folder synchronizer that allow for file sharing with other users on another computer, and also for creating backups of the files and saving these on another computer through file sharing.

In addition to managing files, the software also presents the user with tools for creating ZIP archives; adding annotations to files, and customizing the toolbar. When the user hovers the mouse over a file, they are provided with a brief summary of the file, or short information about the file.

The user is also able to capture images from digital cameras or other devices, and copy audio files from portable music players. Lastly, the program includes a file converter, which enables the user to convert files to a different format.
