What is Vivaldi?

Vivaldi may refer to any of the Vivaldi series of products from Vivaldi Studio, also known as Go Vivaldi Inc. There are three of these programs in total: the Vivaldi Gold software, the Vivaldi Plus software, and the Vivaldi PlayAlong. Vivaldi Gold is a comprehensive musical authoring solution that covers the composition, editing and arrangement parts of the process. It can be operated by mouse and keyboard, although it can also be hooked up to a MIDI device for users who want the ability to see their keynotes transformed into actual musical notation. The Vivaldi Plus program is a notation and composition tool as well but is slightly lighter in features than the Gold edition. The third and final option, Vivaldi PlayAlong, is free and is basically a solution for those who simply want to play scores and practice their craft. It features colored annotations and auto page turning.

All three of these programs are available in both English and Italian and are compatible only with Windows operating systems. All of them have free demo modes with restricted use and can be installed on Windows 7 and 8.
