If you are looking for Programmer's Notepad, you have come to the right place. We explain what Programmer's Notepad is and point you to the official download.
What is Programmer's Notepad?
Programmer’s Notepad, also known as PN1’s main target are users who work with source codes. It is an open-source text editor. PN1 has a multi-language user interface, and an unlimited amount of supported schemes. It has some syntax highlighting which supports both built-in and user-defined schemes. Syntax Highlighting is present in many languages, working together with schemes. Users will be able to fold and outline codes, and dock windows for open files, tool output, file browsers, text clips, and find in files results. Text Clips offer templates for inserting text.
PN1 has a regular expression search and can replace full Perl syntax texts. Split views, and bookmarks (both plain and numbered) are available. This software has support for external tools with some user-configurable output matching. Users can click on warnings and errors so they can head right to the place in the file where it was generated. Files can be exported to RTF and HTML using CSS, and by using Ctags, code definition by navigating and browsing is also allowed. Extensions are supported in developing add-ons with C++. Users can perform scripting via Python, and receive non-fixed width for font support.
