What is FotoCanvas?

FotoCanvas or Photo Canvas is software from ACD Systems International, Inc. whose primary purpose is to enable users to edit their graphics and photos. The software features editing tools that allow the user to adjust light levels, correct red eye, and crop and rotate.

The software also allows the user to apply editing effects on specific areas of the pictures without the rest of the photo being affected. In other words, the software allows for section by section editing. Blending and brush effects are also provided for a rendition of the photo that is different from the original. The Photo Correction Wizard on the other hand, allows the program to automatically apply corrections on the photos.

Texts can be added onto the pictures for a brief description of the photos, or for captioning. There are different styles of thought bubbles provided by the software for creative captioning. Also, forty effects filters are provided.

For photo printing, users are provided with pre-defined printing parameters that allow for printing of pictures in standard sizes. Manual selection of print sizes is also enabled.
