What is PowerProducer?
Cyberlink’s PowerProducer series is an application used to create movies and author such movies on optical media discs; it supports Blu-Ray (including BDXL and AVCREC discs, new features which have been recently incorporated into the PowerProducer family), DVD, and VCD. Nestled in its core ability to provide users with the tools and the functionalities they need to conveniently create professional-level, high-quality movies into optical discs, PowerProducer also allows for capturing content recorded from cameras, such as from HDV camcorder or a TV tuner card. Furthermore, with its advanced Right-to-Disc technology, a user can utilize PowerProducer’s support of the latest in video processing to burn the video as you capture, minimizing the time required to author such projects. PowerProducer comes in two editions, the Ultra and the Standard, the former of which has more utilities but markedly more expensive.
The PowerProducer software also supports Dolby Digital 5.1 audio, plus the latest in processor technology such as Intel i7, Nvidia’s CUDA, AMD’s Accelerated Parallel Processing, and the like; this significantly speeds up capturing, converting, and authoring videos to discs. It also has support for stylish menu creation, with a number of themes, buttons, effects, plus an easy movie-generation tool, the Magic Movie Wizard, supplied for beginners.
