What is Roxio DigitalMedia Plus?
Roxio DigitalMedia Plus is software that allows users to create data CDs, as well as audio CDs and DVDs. The software provides the following features: disc copying, image burning to disc, save image to hard drive, data disc creation, audio disc creation, video project creation, and disc labeling.
When the program is launched, the user will be provided with a window that contains the following options: Audio, Backup, Copy, Data, and Tools. Under the Audio option, an Audio Guide is provided, which allows the user to select the specific audio project that they want to create: Audio CD, Jukebox CD/DVD, or Create MP3s.
The Audio CD option creates a music CD that can be played on a car or home theater CD player; while the Jukebox CD/DVD option creates an audio CD that is compatible with an MP3, WAV or WMA player.
Under the Copy module, users can do the following: disc copy, burn image, or save image. With the Disc Copy option, users can create copies of their optical discs, provided that the contents are not subject to copyright laws.
Roxio DigitalMedia Plus may come as a bundled product of OEMs, or it may also come as part of the Roxio Easy Media Creator CD.
