Audio Module
If you are looking for Audio Module, you have come to the right place. We explain what Audio Module is and point you to the official download.
What is Audio Module?
The Audio Module software helps users play back stored audio files from a micro-SD memory card. The module supports 4-bit ADPCM audio files (.ad4) with sample rates from 6kHz up to 32kHz. The compact 14-pin module takes up little board space and is recommended for any application that needs embedded audio. The .ad4 file can be saved to a uSD card and playback can be regulated via one of two methods: key mode or serial mode.
The key-mode gives a stand alone operation where a host micro is not needed. With only 3 push buttons, a 3V battery and a speaker, an intense compact and low component count MP3-Player like system can be applied. The serial-mode extends a plain, 2-wire interface to any micro-controller through its DATA and CLK lines. Audio operations such as PLAY, PAUSE, STOP and VOLUME control functions are all accessible to the host micro by using simple serial commands.
