A .DGN file is a Bentley MicroStation CAD drawing file.
Files that use the .dgn file extension are most commonly associated with the MicroStation construction design software application. The DGN files that are used by this software contain 2D or 3D drawings that are based on the Intergraph Standard File Format or, in some cases, the V8 DGN standard.
