What is RecordPad Sound Recorder?
RecordPad Sound Recorder is a program developed by NCH Software that provides users with a sound recording utility that enables them to record voice, notes and other sounds. The user can choose the output format of the recorded sound from 3 supported formats: WAV, MP3 or AIFF.
The program features a voice-activated application that records only when the program detects voice inputs, which means any lull between voice recordings such as speech recoding, will not be recorded for continuous flow of the speech on record.
The user can set a time limit on the recording session, wherein the recorder will either automatically stop recording when the time limit has been reached or it will start a new recording.
Pressing on the Recordings option from the toolbar will enable the user to find or play specific recordings. Under the Recordings tab, the user can: Play, Edit, Save, Burn, backup, Transcribe or Delete a specific file. The user also has the option to search for a specific speech under the Speech Search option also provided through the Recordings tab.
Under the Options tab, the user can transmit the recording via FTP, email or a local network through the Transmit option. The software is available for Windows, Mac, iPhone and iPod Touch.
