What is MusicBee?

MusicBee is a computer program developed by Steven Mayall that presents to the user an audio manager and player. As an audio file manager, the software can be enabled to automatically organize the user’s music tracks according to music type, artist, and album name. The organized files are then stored in the player’s library. The user may also manually organize their music files, according to how they prefer it.

Also included in its management component is a utility for converting audio files into any of the formats supported by the software.

As an audio player, the software provides support for various formats, including popular ones such as WAV and WMA, MP3, M4A, APE, AAC, MPC, WV, OGG, TAK, and OPUS. The player is also able to read and run audio tracks from music CDs. If the user wishes to save CD tracks on their computer, the player also allows for CD ripping. Individual tracks or the entire album may be ripped.

Settings for the user interface may be customized, and hotkeys may be assigned based on the preference of the user.
