If you are looking for MKEditor, you have come to the right place. We explain what MKEditor is and point you to the official download.

What is MKEditor?

MKEditor is a multi-page text document editor provided by Kouichrou Urano. The software runs on Windows 95, Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP and Windows Vista. The software provides the user with a tabbed editing window, allowing for editing of multiple documents on the same window.

The editor has the capability to automatically configure its settings to accommodate the type of file being edited. The software also does not have restrictions on file size. The user can load as many files as they want, of whatever file size, for as long as the system memory is able to support multiple pages loaded at the same time.

Users can highlight keywords, URL links, emails and other texts for editing purposes. To add files onto the editing workspace, users may click on the Open folder icon to open the files and add these manually onto the workspace; or users may also drag and drop the files.

Apart from the highlighting features, word-wrapping and line-wrapping are likewise enabled. Lastly, users can configure hotkeys to enable them to assign tasks to specific key combinations.
