Opening ORG files

Did your computer fail to open an ORG file? We explain what ORG files are and recommend software that we know can open or convert your ORG files.

What is an ORG file?

Files that contain the .org file extension are most commonly used by the Lotus Organizer software application. The ORG files that are used by the Lotus Organizer software contain personal organization information, such as calendar details, contact information, to-do lists and planners.

The Yamaha organ software application also uses the .org file suffix. The ORG files that are used by this program contain flute file information that simulates flute sounds when a player uses the Yamaha organ program. The SoundBlaster Pro program also uses the ORG file format for organ files.

The Hollywood FX software program has also been reported to use the .org file suffix. These ORG files contain organizer files that are used by the Hollywood FX software program.
