IGC’s Brava is an application made for viewing, printing and converting files in different formats. As a high-compatibility, multi-format viewing solution, the program is capable of accessing nearly every commonly used document format, from Microsoft Office’s DOC/DOCX format to Adobe’s PDF to AutoCAD’s DWG and even Hewlett-Packard’s HPGL.
While the program can be used for simultaneous viewing of multiple documents from a single application for reference purposes, it is primarily intended to deliver a base from which comparisons and comparative markups of separate files can be made. The program supports this by including an automatic document analysis and comparison tools that highlight differences between documents for users and which can even overlay (through transparency) one file over another in a visual display to better show the differences (again highlighted).
Comments created using the software are saved in an XML file to avoid alteration of the original document. It also includes a Checkview template, a Redaction tool, e-stamp and e-signature utilities, features for measurements and counting, and document watermarking. Users can save their work in any of the following formats: CSF (a secured Content Sealed Format), PDF, or TIFF.
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files Brava! Desktop Application can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
