Sub Station Alpha Subtitles

The .ssa file extension is most commonly associated with the Sub Station Alpha video subtitle freeware. This application is used to create subtitles for video files. The SSA files contain the subtitles that are created with the software. These files are saved in text format and are used by a variety of video editing applications.
