How to open PMD files

What is a PMD file?

Files that contain the .pmd file extension are created by the Adobe PageMaker desktop publishing software application. These PMD files contain page layout files that have been created with the PageMaker software application.

PageMaker is a software program that is used by many desktop publishers to create newsletters, brochures and other formatted publishing files that will be used for printing. The PMD files may contain formatted text, drawn objects, graphics and other images that may be created by a variety of Adobe applications.

The PMD file extension is assigned to page layout files that are created in versions 6 and later of the PageMaker application.
