What is PlanMaker Viewer?
PlanMaker Viewer is a free program from SoftMaker that functions as a document viewer for Microsoft Excel files and templates (.xlsx, .xlsm, .xls and .xlt), dBASE files (.dbf), Rich Text Format files (.rtf) and Plain-text files (DOS, Windows, Unicode and UTF-8). The software was developed based on the company’s office suite, SoftMaker Office and as such PlanMaker is also capable of viewing PlanMaker files and templates (.pmd, .pmv and .pmw). It can also view documents written with StarCalc (.sdc) and SYLK (.slk).
SoftMaker Office is an office suite for Windows, Windows CE, Linux, Android and Windows Mobile users that provides them with a word processor (TextMaker), a spreadsheet application (PlanMaker), a presentation application (Presentations) and an email client for SoftMaker Office Professional (eM Client Professional).
PlanMaker Viewer allows the user to edit and print the documents being viewed, as well as convert the documents to PDF format for file sharing or emailing purposes. The user may be prompted to register the product to be able to take advantage of its full functionality.
