PDF Complete Special Edition is a free to try (shareware) PDF document software that allows its users to view, search and print existing PDF files up to 50 pages. The limitation on the PDF Complete Special Edition is not time, as is usually the case for shareware (for example, a 30-day trial on a certain application), but rather the number of pages of a PDF document printed. After the first 50 pages are printed, PDF Complete Special Edition will put a watermark on the succeeding pages. Its features can still be used, but if you want to print out a professional-grade document without the PDF Complete watermark users are advised to buy the Corporate Edition, the full version of the product which has no expiring limitation, and to remove the watermarks from the succeeding pages.
Although the PDF Complete (any edition) can’t create PDF files by itself, the PDF Complete software is one of the leading alternatives to the Adobe Acrobat family. Though Acrobat Reader is mostly free – and has the same feature set as PDF Complete – the latter is less bloated, with a smaller size and developer-claimed to be faster than other PDF viewers.
