What is a MODD file?
MODD files have multiple uses, and Sony Video Analysis Data is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.
Sony Video Analysis Data
Various Sony Camcorder video recording devices create these files. The information contained in the MODD file is metadata related to a recorded video.
The MODD file stores information regarding the date and time-lines that pertain to a video recording made by the Sony video camera. However, there is no actual video data within the MODD file itself.
How to open MODD files
Important: Different programs may use files with the MODD file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your MODD file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
