What are MHTML files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a MHTML file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your MHTML files.
What is a MHTML file?
A .MHTML file is a MHTML Archive file.
MHTML files are an encoding format used to store web pages and their associated elements, such as images and style sheets. The format is derived from the MIME (Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) standard for encoding multimedia content used in email messages.
An MHTML file is a web page saved with all its associated resources, such as images, audio, and video, embedded directly within the file. The special encoding allows the webpage's layout and styling to be maintained when viewed offline.
They can be created directly from some web browsers and email clients.
