What is a FDB file?

Files with the .fdb extension are most commonly associated with portfolio catalog files. These files contain a database of images used by the image organization and cataloging applications, such as the Extensis Portfolio software. The FDB files contain metadata and thumbnail images for each file stored in the portfolio catalogs.

The .fdb file extension is also used for database files, FeedDemon SQLlite data files, FormTool Pro form files and Ming font files.
