If you are looking for UFRaw, you have come to the right place. We explain what UFRaw is and point you to the official download.

What is UFRaw?

UFRaw stands for Unidentified Flying Raw and is used to manage and enhance raw files from any digital cameras. It supports management of colors allowing you to integrate profiles from ICC colors. The color management optimization feature of the software also allows the user to make use of different color profiles. Raw files are read and extracted using the feature DCRaw. The software itself can either be used as plug-in or can be installed directly.

The application is highly compatible with Nikon digital cameras. The tone curve of a Nikon camera is easily recognized and read by UFRaw. It is equipped with graphical interface and lets the user enhance digital files individually or even by batch. Among the other features of the program are luminosity and saturation correction, cropping and rotating, color balancing, and base curving. Stop corrections and interpolations are likewise possible with this software.

Changing the exposure of the camera can also be done digitally using the UFRaw. It also allows the restoration of highlights in two formats – HSV and LCH. The program UFRaw also supports different types of files frequently used by digital cameras of different brands and models.
