What is Serif PhotoPlus?
Serif PhotoPlus is software provided for Windows users to enable them to edit their photos and images. Basic editing that can be done on photos are cropping, to isolate a specific image from the rest of the photo’s elements; rotating, to render the picture at a different angle (rotating is usually done on photos that are not rendered in an upright position); removing red eye; and adjusting colors and exposure/saturation/sharpness levels.
Apart from basic editing, users are likewise provided with other tools that allow them to remove objects from photos, straighten the alignment of photos, adjust curves, improve skin, remove blemishes and also whiten teeth.
Serif PhotoPlus comes in a free version and paid version. The free version is called Serif PhotoPlus Starter Edition, while the paid version is called Serif PhotoPlus. The latest version of the paid version is Serif PhotoPlus X6.
The new version is integrated with a Smart Selection tool and an Edge Refinement tool. These two utilities allow for precision cutting of images (people or objects) from the photos. Also, the new version is fully compatible with a 64-bit platform.
