What is NetBeans IDE?

NetBeans IDE is a fast and efficient way to develop Java applications for your mobile, desktop and Web. It provides tools for C, C++ and PHP developers. It is an open source and free software. It supports the latest Java technologies with JDK 7, JavaFX 2.0 and Java EE 6. The NetBeans Editor supports languages from Java, XML, HTML, C, C++, Javadoc, JavaScript, Groovy and JSP. You may plug in support for other languages. You can view your data in different ways with multiple windows. You can use versioning tools through Mercurial, Subversion and Git integration from other sources.

You can design graphical user interfaces quickly for Java ME, Java SE and Java EE programs by allowing you to drag and position your GUI components from the palette into the NetBeans Editor. The NetBeans Builder automatically corrects alignment and spacing for our Java SE projects. NetBeans IDE includes a visual debugger for your Java SE applications that let you detect and fix bugs without digging into the source code.

This software supports multiple scripts, plug-ins and multiple platforms such as Linux, Mac OS, Windows.
